Privacy & analytics.

This is George Kelly’s professional portfolio and public Field Guide. Here is how information is handled.

Website usage

Vercel hosts this website and provides cookie-free Web Analytics for page usage and referral reporting. The site removes query strings and fragments from the page URLs it sends to Vercel Web Analytics. Hosting infrastructure may separately process request information, including IP addresses and URLs, to deliver and secure the site.

Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” It uses cookies to measure visits, page addresses and titles, referral and campaign information, general device and browser information, and interactions such as scrolling, outbound-link clicks, supported file-download clicks, and supported embedded-video engagement. This helps George understand how people find and use the portfolio and guides. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

Google processes this information through its Analytics service. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy information.

Your cookie choice

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to allow or decline Google Analytics at any time. The site remembers your choice in this browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. Google Analytics cookies are configured with a 180-day lifetime that may refresh on activity. Declining prevents the Google tag from loading. Withdrawing permission stops collection, removes the site’s Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page. It does not erase information already collected.

Your choice applies to this browser and device. You can also clear stored website data through your browser’s settings. All portfolio pages and tools remain available when Google Analytics is declined.

Calculators, downloads & contact

The browser contribution calculator keeps entered amounts on your device and does not send them to analytics. The separate public calculation API accepts values in its URL; API requests may appear in hosting or client logs. Public downloads do not require an email address.

If you email or call George using the contact links, the information you choose to share is used to respond to your inquiry. A link click does not send an email or submit a contact form.
